We didn't plan to end up here. But here we are.

For years, North Devon was the place we came to.

Beach volleyball on the sand, salt in our hair, that particular quality of light over the Atlantic. Time passed and we travelled Europe looking for something new — we weren't quite sure what — and then, almost by accident, we landed in Woolacombe.

Found our people. Stayed.

What we discovered wasn't just a beautiful place to live. It was a place where movement makes sense. Where the environment doesn't just accommodate your training — it elevates it. Hills that will break you and rebuild you. Beaches that stretch far enough to make you feel genuinely free.

Some of the best walking in North Devon and Exmoor sits right on the doorstep — coastal paths, trail running routes, valley tracks, sand dunes, surf. Everything you could ever need, right here.

This is for the everyday athlete

For whatever it is they’re chasing - be it children, pets, the elusive age-reversal, freedom, a podium or the next PB. It’s for the person who needs their holiday to work — who wants to come back feeling better than when they left. Who plans a break around a trail run, a fitness competition or a swim in the rain. Or maybe the one who asks "what's the best beach for bodyboarding" or where’s the best speciality coffee or craft brewery for after a beach pilates class. These are the ones who ask for the best restaurant to fuel themselves and who wants to know where to recover well, as much as where to train hard.

In a lifetime of moving — running, gym, beach volleyball, netball, HYROX, and everything in between — the one thing that's always been true is this: it's not just what you do, it's where you do it and who you do it with. North Devon gets that right in a way very few places do.
